Lumos is looking for a "feet on the street" Account Executive to help us dominate the corporate and social event market in New Caney and the surrounding areas. At Lumos, we don't just host parties; we help our guests create extraordinary memorable moments with their colleagues and friends . The Opportunity This is not a desk job. As our External Sales Lead, you will be the face of Lumos in the community. You will hunt for medium-to-large corporate clients, HR managers, and event planners to book everything from company off-site meetings, to team-building events, to full venue buyouts. Why Lumos? What You’ll Do Hunt & Close: Proactively identify and engage new corporate leads and move them through the funnel. Be the Face of Lumos: Maintain a constant presence in the New Caney, Humble, The Woodlands, Conroe, and Greater Houston business communities. Consultative Selling: Host off-site presentations and on-site tours to showcase our "Social Entertainment" model. Negotiate & Win: Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from proposal to close and deposit. Successful Execution – Work with the operations team to ensure successful execution of the event with the intent of the guest seeking to return for future bookings. What We’re Looking For The Hunter Mentality: 3+ years of outbound B2B sales experience (Hospitality or Entertainment is a huge plus). Proven Track Record: You have a history of smashing sales quotas and exceeding your targets. Networker Extraordinaire: You’re comfortable walking into a room of strangers and leaving with five new leads. Professionalism: Excellent presentation skills and a polished, brand-aligned presence. Mobility: Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required. Remuneration Highlights Base Pay plus Aggressive Commission: Full time salaried role with a $40,000 base salary and a compelling commission ladder with tiers ranging from 4% up to 15% of net sales. Strategic Bonuses: Extra 1% for mid-week bookings and commission bump for buyout deals. Quarterly Perks: Elite performers are eligible for professional development and experience bonuses.
