TDK Corporation of America is looking for an Account Executive in the Atlantic Region

Job Description: TCA is hiring a technical salesperson to join our Atlantic Region Sales Team. Work as a member of TCA's Atlantic Region Sales Team and join the global TDK family that employs over 129,000 employees at 250 sites for R&D, manufacturing and sales in over 30 countries. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for business development and cross selling of TDK's electronic components. Manage existing customer production schedules, identify and develop emerging markets, work on design wins and bring new programs to market. Position provides strong technical support to existing and potential new customers.

Major Responsibilities: Sales and promotion of TDK product lines in an assigned geographic area including New Jersey, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and surrounding areas. Schedule visits to major accounts within the assigned territory. Identify potential new applications/customers for designated products and collaborate with technical marketing engineers to develop new business. This person will be responsible for building sales relationships, performing price negotiations, formulating sales and marketing strategies and tactics, assisting in resolving quality issues, managing existing customer production schedules, working on design wins and bringing new programs to market while embracing and operating within a total quality environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree in technical field strongly preferred (BSEE preferred)

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of technical sales experience selling electronic components
  • Strong sales, organization skills, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to multitask
  • Will consider recent engineering graduates who have strong technical skills and the desire to pursue a career in electronic component sales.
