Job Description As a Freight Sales Representative/ Account Manager, you will play a vital role in expanding our client base and increasing revenue by connecting shippers with reliable carriers. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and negotiating freight rates to ensure client satisfaction and profitability. This role is critical to the success and growth of our business. Key Responsibilities Identify and prospect potential clients within the logistics and transportation industry. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and industry partners. Evaluate client needs and recommend appropriate freight brokerage solutions. Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the successful execution of freight shipments. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions. Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals. Provide exceptional customer service to clients and address their needs promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in freight sales or a related field. Strong understanding of the logistics and transportation industry. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools. Compensation We offer a competitive base salary along with an uncapped earning potential through a commission-based structure.
