Role Overview:

The Account Manager owns the customer relationship and the full operational delivery of their assigned book of business. This includes responsibility for property quality, scheduling, crew leadership (through Field Managers), customer communication, and financial performance. Account Managers are the single point of accountability for all aspects of the client relationship, ensuring PureGreen’s standards are met and exceeded across every property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with a diverse client base, including developers, HOA boards, management companies, and facility/maintenance directors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client queries and concerns, offering timely and effective solutions.
  • Understand and cater to specific client needs, particularly in terms of plant and turf types, and offer tailored contract sales solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams such as operations and branch management to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Regularly conduct site visits, engage in networking events, and make in-person/phone sales calls to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Oversee long-term project management, including macro and personal level client management, and engage in industry-specific networking.
  • Drive new contract sales and accurately forecast future sales opportunities in the commercial landscape sector.
  • Identify and leverage opportunities for account growth and upselling.
  • Directly manage and coach assigned Field Manager's

Expectations & Standards:

  • Lead with accountability, professionalism, and urgency
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with clients, Field Managers, and crew
  • Proactively identify and solve problems in both maintenance and enhancement execution
  • Uphold culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • Represent PureGreen as the trusted advisor and single owner of the customer relationship

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in account management, preferably within the commercial landscape or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of plant and turf types, and an understanding of the commercial landscape market.
  • Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing situations.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field is preferred.
  • Industry-specific certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.

Our company compensation package includes:

  • Starting salary $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 (based on experience)
  • Performance-based bonus (if profits are met)
  • Monthly Health Insurance Stipend
  • Health, Vision, Dental, & Supplemental Insurance
  • 80 hours of Paid Vacation
  • 16 hours of Personal Time Off
  • Eight company-paid holidays
