As a key member of our MLPG Team you will be responsible for the placement of financial lines business for Small to Middle Market companies in the Commercial segment on a regional basis with an emphasis on aggregation and finding the ideal solution for our key clients. Through MLPG training and development you will develop strategic carrier partnerships to ensure market-leading terms and conditions, and ensures clients receive best-in-class services. Your MLPG training will lead to extensive knowledge in developing executive liability programs and contract analysis, including Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary Liability, Cyber Liability, Professional Liability and Crime. We serve all types of organizations, including (but not limited to) private companies, publicly traded corporations, banks, private equity firms, asset management firms, hedge funds, clearing firms, proprietary traders, investment bankers, and non-traditional lenders. Primary Responsibilities and Duties: Responsible for managing multiple clients, designing solutions and negotiating with insurance carriers to obtain coverage that is in a client's best interests. Coverages include: Directors and Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Crime, Fiduciary Liability, and Kidnap/Ransom for private companies and not for profit organizations. Supports a book of business by performing day to day client service tasks and driving facility results Prepares draft proposals, submissions, and quotes Partner with Senior Members of MLPG to support Regional efforts and goals Supports new business opportunities where applicable Verifies accuracy of insurance documentation Creation and design of renewal strategy documents for client presentations focusing on the design, marketing and placement Build strong relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams Work in a supportive, team-oriented environment Follows up with insurance carriers and underwriters regarding the status of certain documentation and provides any additional information as necessary Ensure policy checking is completed, insurer revisions are made as needed, and delivered to client on a timely basis; Ensure timely and accurate completion of endorsement and audit requests Respond to mid-term client inquiries in partnership with other service and broking colleagues; Maintain and manage open items listings with clients and tea Requirements and Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of insurance experience and knowledge Brokers License Required Management Liability Experience or understanding preferred but not required Successful track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships Advanced working knowledge insurance concepts, UW processes and procedures, laws and regulations, terminology, concepts and principles related to strategic planning, and other relevant industry trends Tech savviness and a willingness to experiment with and learn new technologies Ability to think strategically and function tactically Exceptional communication skills that energize and engage brokers, clients and colleagues and the ability to convey a vision and client-focused solutions Ability to present and negotiate complex agreements Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications, strong computer skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to analyze and evaluate information from a variety of sources and solve complex problems. Excellent decision-making skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish working relationships with individuals at varying levels within the organization. Willingness to Travel 10% At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off and paid holidays for eligible employees. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $70,000 - $100,000. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
