POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient daily administration of invoicing, daily collections, cash posting, filing, account reconciliations, contract compliance and other issues related to accounts receivables for the New Flyer and MCI businesses.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Run auto invoicing daily (Anniston Org, Intercompany, Sales & Service).
  • Reconcile Oracle to the Cloud.
  • Prepare required manual invoices & credit memos.
  • Record customer payments on account.
  • Maintain contract spreadsheets (buses open) daily with information on price, payment terms, discounts, contract spares, etc.
  • Review the bank & CyberSource daily and add receipts to the receipt log.
  • Reconcile bank to receipt log, CyberSource and Oracle weekly.
  • Assist with customer statements and reconcile customer accounts.
  • Assist with monthly AR reconciliations.
  • Assist Treasury team with required accounts receivable information and reconciliations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Send out courier packages.
  • Perform other required administrative duties related to Accounts Receivable
  • Provide support in any finance related initiative or projects, as required.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Accounting/Finance related degree or diploma
  • Minimum 2 years accounting experience
  • Experience with Microsoft office
  • Advance Excel Skills
  • Experience with Oracle (preferred)
