Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Accountancy Analyst
Position type: Full-time Contract
Duration: 4 months and possibility for extension
Location: Wilmington, DE
Shift: Part time position, Wed, Thurs, Friday (3 days a week), 8 hour workday, 2 days in the office.
As a Accountancy Analyst , you will:
Provide accountant level support for senior tax manager. Prepare account reconciliations, post journal entries, request payments, prepare simple tax calculations, and respond to state tax notices with assistance.
Top 3 Software Experience Must Haves:
- Excel
- Adobe Professional/Adobe Sign
- Teams
Preferred Software Experience:
- SAP
- Blackline
- SharePoint
Certifications/Education:
- 1 year experience in accounting
- Open to college students
Description: Work in a detailed manner providing accountant level support for Senior Manager US State & Local Tax.
Major Responsibilities
Prepare monthly and quarterly account reconciliations
Post journal entries
Request tax and other payments
Prepare simple tax calculations
Respond to state tax notices with the assistance of the Senior Manager
Minimum Requirements
Working towards a bachelors or associates degree in business, accounting or finance or equivalent work experience of 1 year experience in accounting, tax or finance
Excellent knowledge of Excel computer software
Excellent knowledge of Adobe Professional
Excellent knowledge of Teams
Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred Background:
College student working towards a undergraduate degree in accounting, tax or finance OR prior work experience or co-op or internship experience in an accounting, tax or finance role
Knowledge of SAP
Knowledge of Blackline
Knowledge of SharePoint
Internal and External Contacts/Customers
Internal: Senior Tax Manager - US State & Local Tax

External: State and local Tax Authorities

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $32 - $35 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
