Job Summary: responsibilities include processing employee time records, reviewing/auditing manual payment requests for errors, and processing the bi-weekly payroll to ensure employees are compensated correctly and timely. Also included are responding to employee questions and assisting with the accurate and timely filing of payroll tax forms and reports.

Job Duties

  1. Process employee time records and review for errors
  2. Monitor and process management approved manual payments
  3. Oversee electronic payments and distribution of manual checks
  4. Assist in preparation of payroll tax reports and end of year forms
  5. Provide excellent Customer Service to all WRH employees for Accounting Dept
  6. Prepare employee deduction payment requests
  7. Assist in Accounts Payable as time permits
  8. Performs other duties as assigned by supervision

Qualifications

  1. Education: Bachelor of Science in Accounting or other finance related field
  2. Training and Experience: Three years in Accounting
  3. Job Knowledge: Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and general knowledge of accounting software

Essentials:

  1. Must be able to report to work fit for duty and free of any adverse effects of illegal drugs, medical marijuana, prescription medication, and/or alcohol.
  2. Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with other individuals.

Physical Demands: Job responsibilities require a moderate amount of physical work. A significant amount of writing and computer entry is required. The individual will be required to assist with lifting and moving accounting records, pushing of carts and other equipment: and lifting or pushing of up to 50 pounds. The individual must be able to bend over to perform certain duties, e.g.filing records or retrieving records, etc. The individual must also be able to maneuver throughout the halls and stairways in response to hospital emergencies. Interpretation of environmental input requires visual and auditory skills.
