Job Description
We are looking for an experienced accountant to manage a multi-function company with businesses in the fields of law, construction, real estate and non-profit charities. We are looking for a candidate that is able to perform accounting and administrative tasks among each entity. The perfect candidate will be trustworthy, highly organized and able to work independently while also being a team player.
Qualifications:
Substantial accounting experience (3 years minimum)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or Finance is preferred, however, significant experience will be considered in lieu of
Ability to manage multiple accounts and accounts of varying types
Proficient in Quickbooks and Excel
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent organization
Ability to multitask is a must
Compensation is contingent upon experience and qualifications
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Reconcile all accounts
Responsible for draws for construction companies
Process office payroll
Correspond with bankers, contractors, clients and other office contacts
Distribute funds for all companies accordingly
General administrative duties (answering the telephone, filing, etc.)
