Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Buford, GA. The accountant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to the following: Prepare and maintain job cost entries, including direct cost and closing entries Prepare general ledger entries and account reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Assist with variance analysis and maintain various schedules. Support audits and provide documentation as required Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data and communicates financial information to department heads & product line managers Ensure all deadlines are met in accordance with the closing dates set by management Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and procedures Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues Assisting with audits and other duties and responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field 2-5 years relevant accounting experience. Proficiency in general ledger, reconciliation, and financial reporting. Strong skills in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with accounting software such as Sage, Kova, Microsoft Dynamics is a plus Ability to work well under pressure and withing short deadlines. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently #J-18808-Ljbffr
