We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Ceres, California. This role involves supporting daily accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial records. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented professionals with a solid background in accounting practices and a commitment to maintaining efficiency in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day accounting tasks to maintain accurate financial records.

• Prepare and review journal entries to ensure proper documentation and compliance.

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.

• Conduct reconciliations for bank accounts and other financial transactions.

• Assist with general ledger maintenance and updates.

• Monitor workflow within the accounting department and provide support as needed.

• Collaborate with team members to address accounting inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

• Prepare detailed reports and summaries to support decision-making processes.
