Job Description Special Instructions to Applicant: Please provide Resume, Cover Letter, and References Job Summary: Nature of Work: Assembles and analyzes data and transactions, prepares statements and reports relating to an assigned area of responsibility. Essential Duties: Responsible for setup, maintenance, implementation, and testing of the Student Financial module in NeSIS. Campus Student Financials Lead Post student financial disbursements and charges. Process financial aid disbursements and complete the student refund process in NeSIS while working directly with START and Financial Aid personnel. Process housing and food plan charges coordinating with housing staff. Process miscellaneous department charges and receipts. Responsible for the creation and distribution of student communications. Responsible for the setup and allocation of various tuition waivers in NeSIS. Oversee staff dependent waiver process and posting. Create student billings and distribution of student billings to include providing support for third party billings. Audit student accounts. Assist with preparation of 1098T forms using the Student Financial module in NeSIS. Prepare accounts receivable write off list at least annually. Process collections and oversee agency requirements as needed. Balance daily cash drawers and prepare bank deposits. Act as content manager for assigned websites. Secondary Duties: Backup other business office staff providing excellent customer service to students, staff and faculty by maintaining student accounts, reviewing accounts receivable, and receipting payments. Assist the Director of Business Services and Comptroller complete reconciliations, run cashiering and general ledger processes in NeSIS, provide leadership and engagement as needed. Lead for parking permit records, reports and applications through NeSIS, completing reconcilations. Maintain cash drawer. Other duties as assigned.
