Accountant Role & Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns for individuals, sole proprietors, farms, corporations, partnerships, estates, and trusts.
• Respond to IRS notices.
• Meet with clients for business consulting and tax planning.
• Review financial statements for clients.
• Address client inquiries.

• Full-time: 8 hours/day on-site in our Columbus, NE office location
• Pay: $50k-$100k, depending on experience and certifications.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting is preferred (only 120 hours required).
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently.
