Job Title: Accountant II

Location: Colorado Springs CO 80915

Duration: 6 Months(Will convert to FT after 6 months)

Work Schedule:- Start at 8 am (flexible start time)

Position Summary:

• Preference for someone with manufacturing experience
• Must have 2 - 5 years' experience
• Cost Accountant for Engineered to Order Manufacturing Facility
• Analyze and collect cost information associated with labor, inventory, and organizational expenses (Efficiency, Production Variance, Inventory, TE, Indirect Materials, etc.)
• Assist with budget and forecasting reports
• Assist with month-end closing and prepare journal entries
• Assist with annual and ad-hoc standard cost rolls
• Maintain Fixed Assets and submit Capital Expenditures Requests
• Reconcile Inventory Accounts
• Ensure compliance and provide audit requests
• Collaborate with various departments to educate and provide costing tools

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant, or similar role
• Experience with ERP (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Excel (pivot table, and basic formula knowledge)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong time management skills
• Must be able to work independently
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant study
