CBIZ Talent Solutions is working with our Northern Nassau County family office client seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in audit and tax return preparation. This role requires excellent technical skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform audits, compilations, and reviews for a diverse client portfolio.
• Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Apply expert technical skills and problem-solving abilities to daily responsibilities.
• Provide support and insight of accounting issues as needed.
• Adapt to changing priorities and deadlines with a flexible and positive approach.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of prior experience within audit and tax required.
• Good working knowledge of accounting and auditing standards and pronouncements.
• Strong technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and relevant accounting software (ProSystem, Audit Engagement Software).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Real estate industry experience is highly desirable but not required.

Compensation range is between $100-$130K annually plus excellent benefits.
