Our Client, a Japanese Logistics company is looking for an Accounting staff.

Position: Accounting Staff

Location: Nassau County, NY

Salary: 60-70k base + benefits

Hiring Style: Full time/ Direct hire

Responsibilities

• Credit Management
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Bank Reconciliation
• Communicate among co-workers at Accounting Dept.
• Communicate with local branch office accounting personnel as well as operation team and branch managers
• Learn accounting system CODA and run report and post journals
• Learn operation system Descartes (ONEVIEW) / Cargowise to view each shipment files (what operation team enter AR and AP in their system)
• Oversea settlement with other oversea offices/agents
• Report to Accounting Manager

Qualifications

• BA degree with accounting major or equivalent
• Japanese skill is a big plus
• Excellence Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel -Vlookup, Pivot, Microsoft Outlook
