Job Title: Accountant

Position Summary: We are seeking a hands-on accounting professional with strong SAP FI/CO experience who can step in and contribute immediately. This role requires deep operational accounting expertise, particularly in month-end close, invoicing, and controlling within a project-based manufacturing environment.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Execute and support month-end close activities within SAP FI/CO
- Process milestone and final invoices within SAP (SD/FI billing preferred)
- Post journal entries, manage accruals, and perform account reconciliations in SAP
- Support controlling functions, including cost tracking and project-based accounting
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal controls
- Work within a manufacturing environment supporting project costing workflows
- Identify discrepancies and resolve issues in collaboration with internal teams
- Support reporting and financial documentation requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Strong, hands-on experience with SAP FI/CO (FI & CO modules required)
- Proven experience with month-end close processes
- Experience posting journal entries and handling accruals in SAP
- Background in controlling and project-based accounting
- Manufacturing environment experience strongly preferred
- Operational accounting focus (not primarily financial analysis or investment)
- Ability to hit the ground running with minimal training
