Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Schedule: M-F, 32 hours

Position Summary: We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to support our client’s accounting team. This temporary role focuses on high-volume data entry and invoicing support, requiring strong accuracy, attention to detail, and experience working within accounting systems such as SAP.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform high-volume data entry of financial and accounting information
- Process incoming vendor invoices and generate customer invoices within the accounting system
- Enter, update, and maintain accounting records in SAP, ensuring information is accurate and properly coded
- Review invoice details for accuracy and resolve discrepancies by coordinating with internal departments
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
- Assist with tracking invoice status and follow-up activities
- Provide general administrative and accounting support to the accounting team
- Maintain organized electronic and physical accounting files
- Assist with reporting, document preparation, and special accounting projects as assigned
- Communicate professionally with internal teams regarding invoice and payment inquiries
- Support process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency within accounting workflows
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 2–3 years of accounting or accounting support experience
- SAP experience required
- Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience supporting an accounting team, including invoicing and administrative support
- Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
