They also has a number of volunteer opportunities available, as well as career opportunities for those who are passionate about working with individuals with disabilities! They are looking to grow their accounting team and bring on a new Accountant!! Looking for someone with initiative and a want to grow within the company! OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE: Analyze account activity: Investigate and explain fluctuations in account balances, identify trends, and reconcile discrepancies. Prepare journal entries: Accurately record financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles. Financial statement review: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Month-end close support: Participate in month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments. This may involve: Preparing and entering journal entries for accruals, deferrals, and reclasses Reconciling balance sheet accounts to supporting documentation Analyzing and reviewing expense reports Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial reports Process improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency. Special projects: Contribute to ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting projects as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: BA in Accounting, Finance or related filed! Tech savvy and detail oriented! #INFEB2025
