Schedule: Flexible Day Hours


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prepares journal entries for assigned accounts according to established schedule.
  • Maintains the Imprest Fund according to established policies and procedures.
  • Maintains Student Government Association checking account and reports.
  • Maintains inventory systems established by the Finance Manager and conducts quarterly inventories.
  • Makes weekly bank deposits.
  • Prepares petty cash and check requests as needed.
  • Prepares all accounts payable vouchers and responds to any corporate inquiries.
  • Review open PO report frequently and updates and maintains AIP Spreadsheet.
  • Perform all similar and incidental duties as assigned to support the Mission, Vision, and Culture of CSD.
Requirements:

Minimum: Bachelor's degree in accounting. One year's work-related experience required.


Preferred: Two years or more work-related experience.


Knowledge: Must possess sound working knowledge of accounting principles and practices, good organizational skills; ability to work with detailed information, excellent math skills, ability to make arithmetic computations rapidly and accurately, proficient in the use of personal computer; working knowledge of software applications, e.g. MS Excel; MS Word; Outlook, excellent communication skills including technical skills, both oral and written.
