We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support the financial operations of our manufacturing organization. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, supporting month-end close, and helping ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. This role will work closely with operations, inventory, and leadership teams to monitor costs, analyze variances, and support the company’s financial goals.Key Responsibilities:Based on general knowledge.Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entriesAssist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processesAnalyze manufacturing costs, inventory transactions, and production variancesReconcile inventory, raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods accountsSupport standard cost updates and cost accounting activitiesPrepare financial statements, management reports, and budget-to-actual analysesMonitor fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditure reportingAssist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting as neededHelp ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controlsSupport internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentationPartner with plant managers and operations teams to track production performance and spendingIdentify process improvement opportunities to strengthen reporting accuracy and efficiencyQualifications:Based on general knowledge.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, and financial reportingUnderstanding of GAAP and internal control practicesProficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
