AccountantAbout the Organization- Accountant One of the longest standing Non-Profit organizations in the world is looking for an Accountant to join their team They focus on anti-poverty and provide additional support around the world for 125 years They work with close to 2 million individuals annually and are expanding their services Working with a Large team in their Midtown office on a hybrid basis Great benefits including Medical, 403B, PTO and more Role Responsibilities- Accountant The Accountant will compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts Handle the billing submissions and follow up with the funders Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position Prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions prior to the monthly close process Establish, modify, document, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures Preferred Qualifications- Accountant General Accounting Non-profit experience preferred 2 years of experience
