MW Partners is currently seeking a Accountant to work for our client who is a global leader in multimedia and creativity software products.

Responsibilities and duties:

• The Accountant will be in the Controller's department within Southern California Edison's (Client's) Finance Organizational Unit.
• The successful candidate will be working in the Capital Asset Accounting (CAA) team.
• He/ She will also be responsible for monthly journal entries, analyzing and monitoring population of projects ready for true up, performing account reconciliations including identifying, investigating, and resolving invalid items within work orders and general ledgers, and data analysis.
• Additional responsibilities are perform non energy billings including Claims, Relocations, and other 3rd party billings.

Requirements:

• C. Bachelor's Degree
• Excel, SAP
• Attention to detail
• 5 or more year of accounting experience
• Power Plan system
• Fixed Asset Accounting background
