Job Summary:

Halter Enterprises is seeking an experienced, detail-driven Accounting & Administrative Assistant to support accounting and administrative operations across multiple affiliated companies. This in-office, part-time role is ideal for a candidate with a solid accounts payable background who can work independently, maintain accurate records, and support office operations with minimal supervision. Additional hours may become available based on performance and business needs.


Hours:

  • Part-Time, 1520 hours per week
  • Consistent weekly schedule required
  • Preferred availability between 9:00 AM 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently enter and code vendor bills and invoices in QuickBooks Online
  • Review invoices for accuracy and proper documentation
  • Maintain organized digital and physical accounting records
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to internal teams
  • Assist with data tracking and reporting in Excel

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
  • 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting support experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Reliable, consistent attendance
