LHH is partnering with a national bank on Accounting Analysis & Reporting Manager search for their Pasadena, CA location. In this job, you be responsible for the compilation and analysis of reports and monitoring the end to end process of loan portfolio reporting, ensuring GAAP compliance, SEC regulations (Forms 10Q and 10K) and banking regulations are adhered to. They are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of loan products, exceptional analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining a robust internal control environment. This is a direct hire job that will work onsite in their office and offers a salary paying between $130K - $145K + annual discretionary bonus. Here are more details about this job:

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare loan related disclosures, and various schedules used in external financial reports 10-Q and 10-K filings, including financial statement footnote and Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A).
  • Prepare loan related disclosure reported in quarterly earnings release tables for quarterly 8-K filings.
  • Preparation of various loan related banking regulatory reports, including the quarterly Call Report and FRY Report schedules.
  • Prepare various loan related schedules for internal reporting requirements including the monthly Board package.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 5-7 years public accounting and/or public company financial reporting experience (if they are coming from Big 4, there is a bit more flex on industry as long as they have worked with a public company)
  • Solid knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and concepts
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills; including research skills regarding current and prospective updates to regulatory reporting.
  • Banking/financial institution experience strongly preferred
  • Must have stability in their career
