What You Will Be Owning As An Accounting Analyst Handle monthly close tasks—closing the books, running variance analysis, doing reconciliations, and sharing key financial reports. Break down gross margin and cost variances (PPV, labor, scrap) and turn them into clear, useful insights. Keep standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead accurate and up to date. Help level‑up ERP workflows related to inventory, costing, and financial reporting. Team up with Operations and Engineering to understand how new products, process changes, or capital projects impact costs. Support internal and external audits with the info they need. Jump in on process improvements to make things faster, cleaner, and smarter. Take on additional projects as they come up—flexibility is key. Preferred Qualifications For The Accounting Analyst BS Accounting or Finance 2‑3 years experience with more of a focus on financial analysis within a manufacturing industry is highly desired.
