We are seeking an experienced and pro-active Accounting/Office Manager to lead daily accounting operations and support overall office efficiency. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing general ledger accounts, reconciling cash and ensuring timely processing of daily transactions and month-end close activities including journal entries.

A successful candidate brings strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, sound judgement and the ability to take initiative while managing multiple priorities. This position plays an important role in ensuring all daily, monthly and annual requirements are met and that office operations run smoothly.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent professional experience.

- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2-4 years in a supervisory or management role.

- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, bookkeeping practices and financial controls.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills preferred.

- Experience working with accounting software systems.

- Excellent written and communication skills.

- Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily accounting operations including posting transactions and maintaining the general ledger.

- Prepare, review and post journal entries.

- Lead month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

- Reconcile all general ledger accounts and research discrepancies.

- Prepare, review and analyze weekly and monthly financial statements.

- Maintain and reconcile spreadsheets.

- Prepare documentation and support for audits.

- Supervise and mentor accounting staff.

Work Schedule:

- This position is on-site

- Monday - Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays during peak season.
