Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. This role works closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate transaction processing and timely financial reporting, offering hands‑on exposure to multiple areas of accounting. Key Responsibilities Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions accurately and timely Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Assist with payroll processing and related entries Prepare and post journal entries supporting month‑end close Maintain accurate vendor, customer, and employee records Support general ledger activities and ad hoc accounting projects as needed Qualifications 1‑3 years of experience in an accounting or finance support role Exposure to AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and payroll Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment Why This Role Broad exposure across core accounting functions Opportunity to grow and develop within the accounting team Collaborative and supportive work environment Compensation & Benefits Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations.
