Position
Accounting Assistant Manager

Summary
A leading Japanese travel and hospitality company is seeking an Accounting Assistant Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing Accounting-related matters across their dining sector including monthly closing, AP/AR, consolidated financial statements. Fluency in both English and Japanese is required.

Essential Duties (Unofficial)
  • Oversee and manage the monthly closing process.
  • Handle AP/AR functions.
  • Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather financial data.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
  • Provide support during external audits.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
     
Working Hours, Working style
Monday - Friday; 9:00 - 18:00 
Flexible work hours might be applicable

Woking Location
Los Angeles, CA
2 days in the office, 3 days WFM (Subject to change)

Salary/Benefit
$68K - 70K DOE
Comprehensive Insurance Plan (Health, Dental, Vision), Paid Vacation

Holidays
Saturdays, Sundays, US Major Holidays

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in both English and Japanese (spoken and written).
