Job Description

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial transactions.  This role focuses on daily cash reconciliation, assisting accountants and other financial professionals to keep accurate and up to date records.

Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

•     Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cash reconciliations across multiple bank accounts and payment platforms.
•     Investigate and resolve discrepancies between internal records and bank statements.
•     Monitor cash inflows and outflows to ensure proper recording and classification.
•     Record journal entries related to cash, revenue, expenses, and adjustments.
•     Assist with month‐end and year‐end close processes.
•     Prepare account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.

•     Reconcile credit card transactions, merchant processor reports, and third‐party payment systems.

 

Must have at least 4 years' experience in accounting.  Must have strong MS Excel experience.  

This is a full time, direct hire in office position with room for advancement & growth!
