Jr. Accounting Clerk Apply
Job Summary:
The Jr. Accounting Clerk is responsible for performing accounting work & executing activities within the general ledger, updating and maintaining accounting databases.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Maintained records of petty cash payments, accounts payables, accounts receivables & reconciliation of all the bank accounts.
- Assist in the preparing of accounting financial statements and schedules & ensuring the maintenance of internal control.
- Functions include verifying,checking data balancing and reconciling accounts & maintaining accounting records, files and other documents.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- A professional accounting qualification from a recognized institution.
- At least two (2) years of accounting experience.
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office software.
- Intermediate-level experience with a Financial Accounting package would be an asset.
- And / Or two (2) years of working experience in the same or similar position.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Good execution and evaluation skills.
- Confidentiality.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision; self-motivated.
- Team player.
