High School Diploma or GED required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution preferred 1–2 years of accounting experience or related coursework, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Familiarity with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) Strong written and verbal communication skills High attention to detail with the ability to perform accurate data entry Proficiency with Windows-based office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Familiarity with accounting software systems Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Description: The Accounting Clerk supports the Finance and Accounting department by performing data entry, maintaining accounting records, and assisting with general clerical and accounting-related tasks. This role contributes to the accuracy, organization, and timely completion of accounting processes. Maintain accounting records by copying, filing, organizing documents, and verifying completion. Perform accurate data entry into the accounting system, including accounts payable and general ledger modules. Assist with month-end closing activities as assigned and ensure deadlines are met. Prepare and maintain accounting schedules using Excel or other applicable tools. Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information. Assist with the maintenance of intercompany accounts. Support the accurate tracking and maintenance of agent commission records. Perform additional clerical, recordkeeping, and administrative duties as required by the Accounting department. Apply and comply with the organization’s Quality System and applicable federal and international standards. Participate in educational opportunities to maintain and enhance job knowledge.
