We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions, including preparing and processing financial documents, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. Duties Prepare and process financial documents, such as invoices, receipts, and expense reports. Assist with payroll processing, including setting up new employees and processing bi-weekly payrolls. Perform balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance. Maintain accurate and organized records, including financial statements, ledgers, and journals. Manage and maintain employee records, including benefits and time-off tracking. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing and reconciling transactions. Perform double-entry bookkeeping and ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records. Collaborate with other accounting team members to ensure effective and efficient accounting processes. Requirements Proficiency with accounting software, including QuickBooks online and accounting principles. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Experience with payroll processing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. MUST be fluent in Spanish Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive financial information. Notary certification required. 2-5 years construction accounting experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including double-entry bookkeeping. Experience with financial statements and financial reporting. Knowledge of tax laws and regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Job Type: Full-time Mon thru Fri 8-5 Onsite / Hybrid Pay – 65-70k/ yr Benefits Dental insurance after 60 days employment Vision insurance after 60 days employment Health insurance after 60 days employment Paid time off Vacation #J-18808-Ljbffr
