Specialty Beverage 5401 Eubank Rd Sandston, VA 23150, USA Description Location: Specialty Beverage (Onsite, 5 days/week) Reports To: Accounting Manager Position Classification: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt Objective The Accounting Clerk supports the daily operations of the accounting department by reconciling delivery paperwork, processing invoices, and assisting with accounts payable functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining organized records, and providing general office support. Working closely with the Accounting team, the Accounting Clerk helps resolve discrepancies, complete posting tasks, and contribute to the overall efficiency of accounting processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities General Office Support Maintain a working knowledge of all office roles to provide backup as needed Provide support across the office and assist with other duties as assigned Reconciliation Perform daily reconciliation and posting of billing invoices Match invoices by load to warehouse unloading reports Scan billing invoices into Edgar software Collate and file billing invoices Investigate and resolve reconciling items Support fintech administration by setting up accounts and assisting customers with account or payment issues Accounts Payable Scan AP invoices into Edgar software Support weekly AP check runs Additional Responsibilities Prepare and post daily auto-posting worksheets for sales and inventory transactions Prepare daily bank deposits Provide coverage for receptionist, accounts payable, and accounts receivable as needed Other duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements Associate’s degree required; coursework or experience in Accounting preferred 1-2 years of experience in a clerical, AP, or accounting support role preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Core Competencies Attention to Detail Problem Solving & Initiative Software Proficiency (Excel, Edgar, Microsoft Office) Physical Demands & Work Environment Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Frequent use of standard office equipment (computers, phones, scanners) Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds (files, boxes, etc.) Fast-paced, team-oriented work environment Compensation Range: Final compensation is based on experience, credentials, and geographic location.
