A globally prominent and rapidly growing industrial manufacturing organization is seeking to hire a Senior Site Controller at their flagship production plant in Southeast Michigan. Reporting to the VP/General Manager, this position will be responsible for strategically leading finance and accounting department(s), systems, and performance. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity. Primary Responsibilities Oversee financial reporting and compliance, ensuring the accurate and timely dissemination of financial statements, audits, budgets, and regulatory reporting. Manage accounting operations, including oversite over accounts payable, receivable, payroll systems, cash control, and tax compliance. Establish and maintain internal controls, ensuring data integrity, accurate inventory cost accounting, and safeguarding company assets. Conduct financial analysis to evaluate ventures, special projects, programs, capital expenditures, and product costing. Ensure financial and operational compliance with environmental and quality management systems (EMS and QMS). Support senior leadership by providing timely financial insights, participating in special projects, and maintaining alignment with organizational goals. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required. CPA or CMA strongly preferred. 8+ years of accounting and/or finance experience within high-volume manufacturing environments. 3+ years of management experience within Controller/Accounting Manager-level capacities.
