Accounting Manager - HybridOverview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead the daily accounting operations for a diversified business. This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, managing month-end close processes, maintaining internal controls, and ensuring compliance with GAAP. The ideal candidate has a strong background in general ledger management, financial analysis, and process improvement within a multi-entity or diversified environment.

Salary & Benefits:
  • Salary Range: $95,000 – $115,000, based on experience

  • The company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets.

  • Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.

  • Maintain and improve internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in collaboration with the finance team.

  • Manage and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional development and growth.

  • Coordinate annual audits with external auditors and manage tax compliance requirements.

  • Drive process improvements and system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.

  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and general ledger systems.

  • Experience in a multi-entity, diversified, or manufacturing/distribution environment preferred.

  • Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.

  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.



Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
