Position Overview:

The Accounting Manager at RoseRyan will play a critical role in managing the accounting team while providing strategic direction and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position involves supervising daily accounting activities, overseeing financial reporting, and implementing efficient processes to promote operational excellence for clients in various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
  • Manage and oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely completion of financial reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
  • Implement accounting policies and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Coordinate the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial data and that all transactions are recorded appropriately in the general ledger.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that could impact accounting practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in GAAP and accounting processes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite; experience with financial management tools such as QBO is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in consulting or public accounting firms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with client management and relationship-building skills.
