LHH is hiring a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager for our publicly traded manufacturing and service oriented client. Headquarters is in Elmhurst, IL and this role will report to the Corporate Controller and lead a team of accountants. This role is responsible for overseeing financial and regulatory reporting including the 10-k and 10-q, month end close, and many other financial duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, and financial reporting, with experience in public accounting preferred.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Provide financial reporting by leading and actively participating in the month-end close process, coordinating with all locations.
· Conduct and review month-over-month flux analyses to identify trends and anomalies
· Approve and ensure the accuracy of account reconciliations
· Oversee the regulatory accountant responsible for the daily segregation/secured computations, capital requirement calculations, and month-end FOCUS reporting population
· Manage and mentor a team of 2-3 professionals, fostering their growth and development
· Collaborate with various departments across the Chicago office to ensure alignment on financial matters
· Fulfill ad hoc requests as needed
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting
· CPA+
· Minimum of 4+ years' experience in accounting and reporting
· Manufacturing industry experience is a plus
· Supervision of teams is a plus
· Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
· Highly proficient in MS Excel; adept at learning new software applications.

A reasonable estimate of the current hiring range is $115,000 - $140,000.
Pay Details: $115,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
