TheAccounting Managerisresponsible foroverseeing the accounting operations and financial reporting functions of TheCareGiversCompany (the “Company”) and itswholly-ownedoperating subsidiaries. This position ensures integrity of financial records, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and thetimelypreparation ofaccuratefinancial statements. The Accounting Manager will lead the month-end and year-end close processes, oversee tax and regulatory compliance, andmaintainstrong internal controls. This position reports directly to theManaging Memberand will work closely with executive leadership to provideaccuratefinancial data to support strategic decision-making. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Reporting and Close. Lead and support the monthly and year-end close processes. Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.AssistinmaintainingGAAP-compliant financial records. Accounting Operations. Manage general ledger activity, journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and fixed asset tracking.Identifyopportunities to improve accounting workflows and internal controls. Multi-State Compliance. Support compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations across California, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. Process Development and Improvement. Evaluate existing accounting procedures and recommend improvements. Take ownership of building efficient processes and scalable systems that support Company growth. Cash Management. Assistin monitoring cash balances, preparing cash reports, and performing bank reconciliations. Collaboration and Growth. Partner with executive leadership to understand operational drivers and financial impacts. Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn new aspects of the business and finance function. Other. Other duties as needed, based on evolving business needs and growth opportunities. REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills withthe ability to deliver actionable solutions to strategic and operational initiatives. Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to present financial and operational information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Proficiencyin financial and accounting software, particularly Microsoft Excel and QuickBooksOnline; experiencewith data collection tools is a plus. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment whilemaintainingprofessionalism. Flexible, adaptable, and eager to learn new financial and operational areas. QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degreein business, Accounting,ora relatedfield;Professional certification (CPA) preferred. Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experiencerequired. Prior managerial experience preferred. Experience as a builder and leader of high-functioning teamsstronglypreferred.
