Position: Accounting Manager | $120,000 to $150,000 + Bonus & Benefits

A well-established company in the Grayslake area is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations and support the broader finance team. This is a key leadership role with direct impact on financial accuracy, reporting, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the general ledger, including month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes

• Prepare documentation for internal and external audits

• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

• Identify and implement opportunities for process and system improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls

• Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel

• Detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and leadership skills
