JOB SUMMARYResponsible for the accounting functions and activities of all departments and sections. Responsible for the orderly accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of the total business results. Through delegations of assignments, responsibilities and appropriate authority to subordinate accounting clerks, accomplish accounting objectives compatible with systems and schedules.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPersonally direct and supervise the consolidation of accounting data and the preparation of financial statements and cash managementAssist CFO to analyze and appraise the financial status of the company and prepare recommendations for future financial plans, forecasts and policies.Supervise special financial studies as directed.Coordinate system and procedures to include electronic data processing, analyze and implement new procedures or modification, develop controls related procedures with the objectives of reducing cost, obtaining improved information, detailed and timely reports.Coordinate activities for regular and special audits, outside consultants involved with internal consulting functions.Participate in management level meetings to assist CFO in presenting financial data appraisals, forecast details, ect.Interpret, verify and delegate legal accounting regulations, requirements, procedures, policies etc.Work closely with the CFO on confidential financial matters.Either directly or through subordinate supervisors, maintain department staffing requirements, training, communicating and conformance with such other requirements essential to the operation of the financial function.Administer work rules, regulations and disciplinary actions.Appraise employee performance and recommendation change of status and wage adjustments.Understanding IATF16949 AND ISO 14001 Requirements.Assist in training levels of Associates regarding IATF-16949 and ISO 14001 Documentation Requirements. Follow and promote company safety standards to ensure a safe work environment.Other duties as assigned by the CFO.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCERequires a college degree in Economics or Business Administration. Accounting Major preferred.Advanced courses in Financial Management, Investment, Business Law and Electronic Data Processing is beneficial.3+ years’ experience required to include preparatory accounting and supervisory positions.
