Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work with little or not supervision. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide supervision, leadership, and employee development to Accounting Staff Perform all functions of payroll including quarterly and yearly reports, labor distribution and supporting schedules • Assist in preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements Perform monthly reconciliations and analysis of general ledger accounts and variances Manage banking relationships and treasury functions • Assist with annual financial audit Prepare and/or supervise the filing of Federal, State, and Local fees as well as reporting to miscellaneous taxing agencies. Maintaining a chart of accounts, general ledger, and financial reports Assist the Controller in ensuring that necessary accounting controls and procedures are in place to protect the company’s assets.
