As the company continues to grow, they stay committed to leading the industry in flavor and juice processing services.Job Summary:The Accounting Manager plays a critical role in maintaining accurate and compliant day-to-day accounting operations during an SAP S/4HANA implementation. This position supports continuity across both SAP S/4HANA and a legacy Microsoft Dynamics system, ensuring transactional accuracy, timely close, and strong internal controls. The role is hands-on, operationally focused, and expected to evolve into a long-term leadership position following the successful system transition.Key Responsibilities:Operate effectively within a dual ERP environment, supporting SAP S/4HANA and Microsoft DynamicsManage and support the monthly close process, including balance sheet and P&L analysisOversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functionsMaintain fixed asset accounting, including depreciation and reconciliationsPerform general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliationsEnsure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policiesSupport SAP implementation activities including system testing, data validation, and process alignmentPrepare and document accounting procedures and process flowcharts for both SAP and legacy systemsPartner cross-functionally with Operations, IT, and Supply Chain teamsMaintain a professional, collaborative work environment that supports performance standardsProvide operational accounting coverage throughout the ERP transition periodPerform additional duties as required to support accounting leadership and system implementation needsQualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree in AccountingActive CPA credentialMinimum of 10 years of progressive accounting and managerial experienceStrong working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and complex formulasProven experience managing month-end close within a manufacturing environmentHands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics and/or SAP ERP systemsExperience supporting ERP implementations or dual-system accounting environmentsAbility to report to company facilities as needed, including same-day noticePreferred:MBA credentialSAP S/4HANA experienceManufacturing or regulated manufacturing industry backgroundKey Competencies:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlinesEffective cross-functional collaboration skillsComfort operating in a changing, project-driven environmentOwnership mindset with long-term leadership potential
