Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and manage our organization’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership abilities to mentor accounting staff, ensure adherence to GAAP and standards, and support the organization’s financial health through accurate analysis and reporting. The Accounting Manager will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of financial data, streamlining accounting processes, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all accounting functions including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes; perform balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities to support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct cash flow analysis, budget variance analysis, and financial report writing for internal management.
• Mentor, train, and develop accounting staff
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits; ensure audit readiness and compliance with auditing standards.
• Support internal controls development to ensure proper documentation of all financial processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field;
• Extensive experience in corporate accounting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, accrual accounting, double entry bookkeeping, financial concepts, debits & credits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required. SAP preferred
• Demonstrated ability to mentor teams effectively while managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data for strategic decision-making.
• Strong understanding of financial management principles including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, balance sheet reconciliation.
