Salary Range for this position is $80-90k We offer a hybrid workplace with three days onsite in our corporate office - Tuesday through Thursday in Waitsfield, VT or Andover, MA. What you’ll be doing: Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Manage the GL – AP, month-end and year-end close processes Review and process journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP Analyze financial results and investigate variances Oversee general ledger activities, including accruals, deferrals, and reclasses Accounting point of contact for annual budget Manage the expense reporting module Manage balance sheet account reconciliations and resolution of discrepancies Ensure proper accounting for fixed assets, leases, reserves, and prepaid expenses Maintain strong internal controls over financial reporting Support audits and prepare audit schedules and documentation as necessary Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and efficiency Assist with system implementations, upgrades, or ERP enhancements Develop and document accounting policies and procedures Partner with Finance, FP&A, Tax, Payroll, and other departments Provide accounting guidance to business stakeholders Perform other duties as assigned What we are seeking: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 10–15 years of progressive experience Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results Excellent planning and time management skills Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with other financial systems Self‑motivated Ability to multi‑task Agri-Mark is an equal opportunity employer.
