Responsibilities: Assist in managing the financial activities of the company. Develop and implement accounting processes that ensure internal controls, compliance of accounting principles, and a high degree of financial statement accuracy. Prepare collateral reporting and bank reconciliations. Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data. Assist in the development of forecasts and annual operating budgets. Work with the Controller on ad hoc projects, as they arise. Complete month-end close, prepare financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, statement of cash flows, budget actual variance report and narrative. Prepare, analyze, and report daily, monthly, and quarterly key performance indicators. Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures. Assist in financial management, including accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures. Responsibilities will also include financial risk management. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance 2-5 years of financial experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles & Cost Accounting Standards Financial Accounting Strong leadership and business acumen Analytical ability and detail oriented Championing company values and positive company culture Cooperating with and collaborating with others Preference will be given to candidates with the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
