We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Specialist and Executive Assistant who can assist our CEO and Accounting department to execute key daily, weekly and monthly responsibilities that drive operational efficiency and support the company’s continued growth.Role DescriptionSnapPower is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Accounting Specialist and Executive Assistant to support our CEO and accounting operations. This role is a critical position within the company, responsible for keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly while also managing key financial processes such as billing, invoicing, vendor payments and customer receipts.The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, is comfortable wearing multiple hats, and takes ownership of both administrative and financial responsibilities. This individual will play a key role in helping leadership stay focused on high-impact initiatives while ensuring operational and accounting tasks are executed accurately and on time.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial OperationsManage accounts receivable, including invoicing customers and tracking paymentsOversee accounts payable, including vendor bills, payment processing and maintaining strong vendor relationshipsPerform daily, weekly and monthly reporting responsibilitiesCreate processes to track employee payments/commissionsAssist with monthly financial close processes, reconciliations, and reportingWork within QuickBooks Online to maintain accurate financial recordsCoordinate with internal team members and external partners to ensure timely and accurate financial transactionsExecutive & Administrative SupportProvide direct support to the CEOSupport day-to-day office operations and ensure organizational systems are maintainedAssist with inventory coordination, purchase orders and logistics, if neededMaintain documentation, records and internal systemsAct as a central point of communication across departments, if neededCoordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and internal communicationsAssist with special projects, reporting, and cross-functional coordinationHelp streamline processes and improve organizational efficiency across the businessQualifications2 - 4+ years of experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processesProficiency in QuickBooks online (or similar accounting software)Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of professionalism and trustworthinessAdvanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google SheetsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience working in a consumer products, e-commerce, or retail business is preferredExperience supporting senior executives or founders is preferredExperience with various software reporting systems is preferred
