We are looking for a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team in Ankeny, Iowa. This part-time, contract-to-long-term role offers an opportunity to contribute to various accounting functions within a collaborative and friendly environment.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, tracking payments, and resolving discrepancies.
• Oversee accounts payable tasks, such as processing vendor invoices and ensuring timely payments.
• Reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Handle expense management and petty cash, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
• Perform billing functions, including preparing and sending customer invoices.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting procedures and improve efficiency.
• Monitor financial transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Provide support for month-end and year-end financial close processes as needed.

Requirements:
