The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and company policies. This is a hybrid role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage accounting staff
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Review and reconcile financial statements, general ledger accounts, and bank reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with auditors during annual audits and assist with the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budget variance analysis and cash flow projections.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting regulations and standards and ensure compliance with new requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3or more years of experience in accounting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
