Hospital in southern, Montana is seeking a Senior Accounting Supervisor.

Experience you'll need: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, at least 5 years accounting experience, healthcare experience, Strong leadership managerial skills, CPA preferred

Why this job:

• You will supervise and review the work of the Accounting and Adjustment Clerks.


• Develop the accounting function for continuous improvement and efficiencies.


• You'll be responsible for maintaining the hospitals' financial system to ensure accurate transactions into the general ledger.


• Perform monthly and annual close processes of the system. Perform or review journal entry postings and balance sheet reconciliations to support accurate financial reporting.


• Compile financial reporting to support internal and external regulatory reporting, surveys requests of financial information.


• You are a Superuser of the financial general ledger system as well as the budgeting and reporting system.


• Supports the budget process and ensures alignment with financial reporting structure and appropriate accounting.


• Assist with the preparation of audit work papers.
